About Us
The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines– Claveria Campus, former Misamis Oriental State College of Agriculture and Technology Library remains in the great spot of the campus. Despite uncertainties about exactly what services we will provide, the core mission of the library will remain vital— whose prime objective is to meet the academic needs, cultivate ideas, develop capacities, and create knowledge.
It is safe to say that the library will soon face radical change, still, it is committed to provide timely access to information sources, optimize the use of all available resources, create physical environment and collections conducive to learning and research and provide meaningful learning experience. A collaborative effort between the library and the Administration shall be uphold to ensure that ideas and knowledge are available to everyone who seeks to learn.
Acquisition of Print collection continue to be in focus to meet the changing information needs of our clients. A total of 419 titles with 846 volumes books, eBooks, theses and dissertations, journals and magazines were added to collection.
The use of technology in the access of information remains to be a challenge especially with limited budget. However, as current users’ age, the library needs to ensure that its services are aligned with the needs of a younger, more demanding and more technologically oriented clientele
At present, USTsP Library , Claveria Campus continue to be an active member of the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Libraries (PAARL), ALINET and MASTSLinet .

COLLECTIONS
Library resources includes the collections of various learning materials related to agriculture environment and food. In 2016, four hundred nineteen (419) titles with eight hundred forty six (846) volumes of learning resources were added to collections.
At present, the library houses 7,277 titles with 14,663 volumes of books, journals, magazines, , audio-visual resources, and other electronic resources fully utilized by the students, faculty, alumni and other visiting clients. Student—book ratio is 1:12. (see Table 1)

ACCESS and SERVICES
- Users
Our users are the Library’s first priority. We are committed to provide greater access to information sources . It is open for 64 hours per week serving from Monday to Saturday except on holidays. Our resources and services were accessed in 38,433 times by our users in 204 working days, an average of 188 users were served per day.

B. Resources Utilization
We strive to improve our services and to offer the best we can to our users. It is our work with students, as they become more skilled information seekers and users, that provides the greatest reward. The limited volumes of our resources did not hinder us from giving our clients the access to information sources. The Library circulated 1, 258 items through its main circulation desk, and 4,789 items were in -house used . Overall, a total 6,047 items were utilized from January to December 2016 .

Circulation and use of Library Resources was tremendously lowered by 45% as compared to last year. Some contributory factors includes: decreased of enrollment, no first year admission due to K-12 implementation, more students were using their gadgets like cell phone and tablets, etc to do research
